The Ora pen black rhodium bath for the Rhodinette Pen Plating System, form an extremely bright, durable deposit for decorative applications. In addition to multi colouring processes on jewellery pieces, they are for repair or restoration work.
Pen black rhodium baths are used in pen plating units such as the Rhodinette II (ref. n° 3587.7000). The coating requires a perfect cleaning and degreasing of the work pieces. Electrical current must flow between the work piece and the contact clip or plate. Upon completion of the coating process the electrolyte is rinsed off. It is absolutely essential to avoid drag out of the electrolyte solution and a separate plating pen must be used for every rhodium colouring bath. The aluminium safety closure must imperatively be completely removed after opening the bottle. Do not fill back the used electrolyte into the original bottle.
