The rhodium bath JE28-1 for pen is especially suitable for partial plating, for multi-colour processeing and reparation or restoration. The deposited coatings have a brilliant white colour and they are hard and abrasion resistant. JE28-1 deposits uniform rhodium layers and has a strong colour consistency.

The plating layer created by pen plating is very thin. If you would like a thicker layer, we recommend that you treat the goods in a normal electroplating bath.
Jewellery parts that are not to be electroplated must then be covered with a suitable varnish.

Operating instructions:
Fill a small amount into a separate work container. Do not work from the original bottle, as this would contaminate the entire solution. To achieve the best possible results we recommend the use of our pen plating unit Picco+ and the specially developed MOX handpiece. This has an excellent conductivity and is particularly indestructible.

The parts must be cleaned, rinsed well and dried before the pen plating procedure.Our JE610 electrolytic degreasing bath is suitable for degreasing. Dip the felt tip into the pen plating solution and wait 15 - 30 seconds so that the solution can be adsorbed. Fix the part with a pair of tweezers (minus pol - black socket) and plug in the pen plating unit. . Then insert the tip into the pen/handpiece (plus pol - red socket) and plug also into the pen plating unit. Stroke slowly several times without applying pressure the area to be electroplated. Rinse well in fresh water and dry the part.
