The GALVATRON Platinum Bath is used for decorative surface coating. It forms a greyish gloss-retentive and wear-resistant deposit. If pre-plating is carried out, particularly with the AC3 Pre-Plating [Adhesion Layer] Gold Bath (our ref. n° 3580.7770). Even steels can be platinized with this process.

The Galvatron Platinum Bath is for use in a conventional electro-plating unit such as the WILAPLAT System. The pH value is the determinant for perfect deposition and so must be checked frequently and adjusted with ammonia as required. Prior to the electro-plating procedure, the work pieces to be coated must be cleaned and degreased.
