The WILAPLAT Titanium Pickling Agents for pure titanium remove oxidation layers from titanium surfaces - the precondition for further electrolytic processing of titanium, such as colour anodization.

The Special Pickling Bath (our ref. n° 3580.7908) has greater pickling efficiency than the Normal Bath (our ref. n° 3580.7906), while the performance of the Electrolytic Bath (our ref. n° 3580.7909) is easier to vary for better brightness formation with less stress.

Ultrasonically cleaned titanium work pieces are hung on titanium hooks (foreign metals must not be introduced to the pickling solution) and suspended in the bath with the electrical contact with the anode established through the electrolyte. Upon completion of the pickling process, the work pieces must be thoroughly rinsed. It is absolutely essential to avoid drag out.
