The WILAPLAT Titanium Colouring Electrolyte is used for the anodic oxidization of pure titanium and several titanium alloys. In addition to the diversity of the obtainable colours, the artificially formed oxidation layer is considerably stronger and accordingly more wear-resistant. .

Titanium work pieces, which have been ultrasonically cleaned and pickled (Titanium Pickling Solution our ref. n° 3580.7907, 3580.7908, and 3580.7909) are hung on a titanium hook and the electrical contact established by attaching to the anode rod of aTitanium Colouring Unit. Upon completion of the colouring process, the work pieces must be thoroughly rinsed. It is absolutely essential to avoid carrying over the substances.
