- Incandescent light: Ideal for stones with colour-changing properties (e.g., alexandrite, sapphires, and some garnets).

- Long-eave UV light (395 nm) and UV light 365 nm: For fluorescence and special investigations. For specific stone investigations, contact your local mineral club.
- Blue inspection light: Useful for distinguishing natural amber and finding flaws or cracks in agates or jade stones. Additionally, the inspection light can be very helpful as it "colours" flaws, inclusions, or cracks in blue. During close inspection, brighter light can be blinding. This light can also induce fluorescent reactions in certain stones.
- Also, another feature the producer have never seen before: it causes certain fluorescent reactions in some stones, such as a calcite clam from Florida glowing bright red.
